Raju Venkatraman, a successful Serial Entrepreneur is the Founder, ex- Chairman and ex-Managing Director of Medall Health Care Pvt. Ltd. Headquartered in Chennai, under his leadership, Medall got visibility and presence in 8 States Pan India and grew to become the 4th largest Diagnostics Services company in less than 7 years touching more than 12 million lives by 2018. This was possible by implementing his vision to provide accessible and affordable healthcare in tier 2 and tier 3 cities especially in the interiors of Tamil Nadu.

Raju has held board positions at Polaris Consulting and Services Limited and American International School Chennai (AISC). He currently sits in the board of IIT Madras Incubation Center, Prodapt Solutions Private Limited, Imersive.io Private Limited, Anunta Technology Solutions Private Limited and the IIT Madras Incubation Center.

He is also a trustee of IIT Madras Alumnus Fund and Research Park and Past Chair of Madras Management Association (MMA), involved in leadership positions in TIE and CII Chennai and sits in the Boston University India Advisory Council, thus effectively distributing his time to fulfil his passion and purpose.

Raju has been a member of YPO Detroit from 1997 and later became a member of YPO Chennai when he moved back to India in 2002 thus enjoying the benefits of being part of the YPO community for more than 2 decades.

Raju has received several awards such as Distinguished Alumnus Award (DAA) from IIT Madras, the Serial Entrepreneur Award by TIE Chennai and TN government, Udyog Tattan Award by Institute of Economic Studies, American Dreamers Award by Crain’s Magazine, Top 75 entrepreneurs from India in USA by Indian Abroad and many more.

Before Medall, Raju founded Sherpa Business Solutions in USA in 2002, then relocated to India and acquired RevIT in India to provide IT/ITeS services to the healthcare industry. RevIT was later acquired by ICICI One Source Solutions (promoted by ICICI Bank, India). Raju was responsible for taking ICICI One Source public and renamed it as FirstSource Solutions. He served as President, COO and Joint Managing Director at FirstSource.

After graduating from IIT Madras in 1981, Raju’s first job was with Cadbury India Pvt Ltd. Relocating to US, Raju worked at EDS, USA between 1985-1991, then joined HiTech Consultants, bought it subsequently and renamed it as Vetri Systems and by establishing the Indian subsidiary of Vetri Systems, Raju is known to become one of the pioneers of Digital Imaging and BPO in India. He sold Vetri Systems to Lason Inc, scaled Lason with acquisitions in Trinidad, Grenada, Barbados, and he was also responsible for Operations in China, India, Mauritius, Mexico, and USA.

Mr. Adesh Kumar Gupta is a Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary, and an alumnus of Harvard’s Advanced Management Program. With over 40 years of experience in corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, fundraising, and taxation, he brings deep strategic insight to the Board.
He spent more than three decades with the Aditya Birla Group, holding senior leadership and board positions across several group companies, including Grasim Industries and Aditya Birla Nuvo Limited.
